The University of Miami homecoming was tonight and like every year, the fireworks were great and you could see them well from my driveway.

Last night we went to see Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals play at the Gusman Center, downtown Miami. The show was beyond amazing.

Like an idiot I left my camera in the car because I thought I couldn't bring it in. DUMB! Everyone and their mother had a camera. And the old restored theater, everyone dressed up for Halloween and my decent seats would have made for some great shots.

I did however get a few shots of him the last time I saw him play at Langerado on 2005. :)

Happy Halloween!!!

Graphic designers are dorks. That being said, a few designers on my team that work on the offline/print production side of the agency with me and I decided we would represent by dressing up like CMYK.

For those of you that don't know, CMYK stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black, the four basic colors used in offset printing.

Like, I said, D-O-R-K-S!!!

We did however win best group costume in our building! ;)



The best part is that Black actually has a black crowe on his arm that you can't see and Yellow has a tiny yellow bird on her hat as well. I have no idea why birds were incorporated.

Tropical Storm Noel is headed our way tomorrow which reminded me of two years ago when Hurricane Wilma struck and cancelled our Halloween.

Kevin and Marissa invited us and Andy and Glenna over to carve some pumpkins Sunday night.

We carved pumpkins, watched Young Frankenstein, toasted pumpkin seeds, and had Frankies Pizza and apple cider.

It's was a lot of fun. But I think I will be a little less ambitious with my pumpkin carving next year since the Ohio State logo took me about 3 hours.
