July 4th, 2007 - Wednesday
We usually don't do much for July 4th, but this year we lucked out. My stepson, Dakota is visiting from California and our friends, Andy and Glenna just moved into a great new place out on a lake in South Miami. We spent the whole day swimming, sailing, paddleboating, fishing, eating, playing games, drinking beer and watching fireworks. Even with the afternoon rain, it was the perfect Fourth of July.

beautiful collection here and on Flickr, Laurel.......its nice to see families celebrating the day together......we had a quiet day...rains washed it out almost but it was beautiful, nevertheless :)
