August 1st, 2007 - Wednesday

This photo was taken a few weeks back at Pinecrest Tropical Gardens (the old Parrot Jungle). The foliage in this free park is amazing. Everytime I think Miami has no trees I come across something like this and it takes my breath away.

I have seen Miami only at night so never noticed the absence of trees, as u mention it ....I thought Florida was lusher than some of the other places i have been to!!!

I grew up in Pennsylvania, but I love the Palms here in Florida.

I'm glad us three Florida people get to converse a little on here ;)

Haha...me too Chad!

I'm from Ohio and while I love the tropical foliage in Florida, I really miss the HUGE oak trees up north.
